ISO Certification

Los Angeles Duplication & Broadcasting, Inc (LADB) is one of a very small percentage of companies - in any industry - to be both ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certificated simultaneously. ISO is an internationally recognized family of standards. We have gone to great lengths to achieve this distinction because the future of our industry relies upon vigilant protection of your content today.

ISO 27001 (http://www.ladb.com/security) outlines thorough requirements for managing, maintaining and protecting content and ensuring information security.

ISO 9001 (http://www.ladb.com/security) outlines quality requirements for the manufacturing, production, quality assurance, repeatability and improvement of any product or services.

The LADB Secure Future Commitment

In order to protect the future of our industry, we all must do a better job of protecting our content today. ISO Certifications and MPAA auditing aren’t enough, so to that end, LADB has taken a leadership position by creating the LADB Secure Future Commitment (http://www.ladb.com/security/futurecommitment).

This protocol is based upon MPAA Audit practices and ISO 27001 requirements, both of which we rigidly follow. It outlines the eleven critical principles that our industry must embrace. We appeal to all companies across the entertainment spectrum - be they suppliers, customers or even our competitors – to join us in this important initiative.

ISO 27001 Explained

ISO 27001 is an internationally recognized information security standard that outlines thorough requirements for managing, maintaining and protecting information – from hand-off to hand-back. ISO 27001 Certification is the process by which organizations are evaluated to meet and conform to this standard.

ISO 27001 combines risk analysis and risk treatment and is backed up by 11 exhaustive control categories including: information security policy, security organization, personnel security, access controls, physical security, asset classification controls, business continuity planning, system deployment, security incident management, communications management and compliance.

The ISO 27001 standard is managed, updated and certified by the International Organization for Standardization. Any company that claims to be “ISO 27001 certified” has been verified to fully meet all requirements specified.

LADB was audited by National Quality Assurance Organization (NQA-USA.com) to receive our ISO Certifications. While there are no absolute guarantees of content protection or information security, ISO 27001 is internationally agreed to be the highest standard to protect information.

ISO 9001 Explained

The ISO 9001 Quality Management Standard is the most widely recognized and established quality management system framework in the world. The ISO 9001 standard outlines a number of requirements, which provide the foundation to meet customer expectation. One of the quality benefits of ISO 9001 is the monitoring and measuring the services processes. This provides quality repeatability in meeting your requirements.

The ISO 9001 Standard dictates the traceability for every stage of a product’s life, or provision of a service from storage of the raw materials used to the maintenance and upkeep of the product after it has left the assembly line. They check to ensure that the product works exactly as ordered, is consistently free of any defects, is safe to use, and includes every piece of peripheral information necessary to using the product.

ISO 9001 also states requirements for thorough record keeping, effectiveness checks for all processes, and effectiveness checks for the quality management system as a whole. All aspects of the manufacturing process are addressed, thereby ensuring consistency, quality and safety.

Any company which claims to be, “ISO 9001 Certified” has been verified to be in full conformance with ISO 9001 Standards.

LADB was audited by National Quality Assurance Organization (NQA-USA.com) to receive our ISO Certifications. While there are no absolute guarantees to eliminate risk in any business process, ISO 9001 is internationally agreed to be the highest standard to ensure a consistent operational process.
