ISO 22301

ISO 22301 provides a framework to plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain, and continually improve a business continuity management system. ISO 22301 falls under the Societal security category of ISO standards and was created to be a business-led contingency planning and disaster recovery standard to mitigate the effects of disruptive incidents on society–from large scale natural disasters and acts of terror to technology-related accidents and environmental incidents. Using models from several countries, including Australia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States, public and private sector stakeholders came together to create ISO 22301.

ISO 22301 is included as a PS-Prep standard. PS-Prep is a partnership between the Department of Homeland Security and the private sector that lets private businesses demonstrate their capabilities for plan for, respond to, and recover from disasters and other emergencies.

The ISO 22301 PS-Prep certification shows that LADB will continue to be equipped to resume business operations to its client promptly even if a disaster strikes.

LADB was audited by National Quality Assurance Organization (NQA-USA.com) to receive our ISO Certifications. While there are no absolute guarantees to eliminate risk in any business process, ISO 22301 is internationally agreed to be the highest standard to ensure continuity in operations.
