ISO 27001 is an internationally recognized information security standard that outlines thorough requirements for managing, maintaining and protecting information – from hand-off to hand-back. ISO 27001 Certification is the process by which organizations are evaluated to meet and conform to this standard.
The ISO 27001 standard is managed, updated and certified by the International Organization for Standardization. Any company that claims to be “ISO 27001 certified” has been verified to fully meet all requirements specified.

ISO 22301
ISO 22301 provides a framework to plan, establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain, and continually improve a business continuity management system. ISO 22301 falls under the Societal security category of ISO standards and was created to be a business-led contingency planning and disaster recovery standard to mitigate the effects of disruptive incidents on society–from large scale natural disasters and acts of terror to technology-related accidents and environmental incidents. Using models from several countries, including Australia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States, public and private sector stakeholders came together to create ISO 22301.
ISO 22301 is included as a PS-Prep standard. PS-Prep is a partnership between the Department of Homeland Security and the private sector that lets private businesses demonstrate their capabilities for plan for, respond to, and recover from disasters and other emergencies.
The ISO 22301 PS-Prep certification shows that LADB will continue to be equipped to resume business operations to its client promptly even if a disaster strikes.
